That's an odd one. We don't know his speed but you get the feeling it wasn't that fast, clean road, mild turn, yet he seems to panic in the curve and stands it up. Looks like he had no confidence that he could "look (to the exit), lean (the bike), and believe you will make it". He may have been compromised because he's on a cruiser and those dumb things don't lean very much until everything starts dragging. Too bad about the 'Vette, you are out for a nice fall drive and your afternoon, and car, is ruined because some guy couldn't handle his bike.
I think most people on sporty or standard bikes have all gone into a turn a bit too hot but leaning it over and easily getting through the turn if you have confidence in what your machine can do. I find cruiser riders tend to think of their machines as cars on two wheels, they have little real world experience of how a motorcyle actually functions in turns and corners, and the concept of countersteering. They just 'cruise' around with their hottie hanging on to the back, usually in a straight line.
