I Guess I Won't Be Riding Today!

15 to 20cm snow here as well. Airports closed for several hours, secondary roads are nearly impossible to ride, highways limited lanes cleared. mr Winter has definitely taken the low countries in it's grip....I was lucky even to be able to retrun from Romania last friday, as Brussel airport was snowed under...many other flight were delayed or even cancelled. The bike has now been plugged in, cleaned and rubber from the floor on paddocstands, waiting for the roads to clear....

Where I live it looks like that five or more months a year. We learn to diversify our recreation or get bored to death and fat. Snowmobiling used to be my winter sport but I go to Arizona for a few months during the winter now. I still hunt from about October 1st to the end of December. Once the hunting season is over I move west. Sill, I lived in Hawaii for four years and after the first year I couldn't wait to see the seasons change. There's always something a person can do till the riding season comes back if you live in the great white north.

Oh boy! You Californians are too spoiled!! 41 degrees and it's too cold?! I'd give my right pinkie for 41 degrees right now with clear skies! I'd give my right pinkie cause I only use two fingers for braking! Haha! I'm sure that a bunch of us poor saps here on the other coast would agree with me right now.

P.S. Welcome Scout to the forum. Happy to have you along. What bike are you riding and when can we see some pics? Have a Happy Holiday, both you and your family.

Ha! How long did it last? 10 minutes! I remember 3 years back, my sister in Las Vegas had 2" of snow dropped on them by 8:00am for the first time in years. By 10:30am it was all gone! It was a freak storm a week before Christmas.

it snowed off and on through the day....got me to shovel the driveway, maybe 1" at most....but tempting the weather to come deposit more. It was falling off and on throughout the day, but by afternoon, sun was out and the dry ground has sucked up all the moisture.

Prompted me to go get winterizing products.....but now I think I might bundle up and go for a much needed, spirited ride....

Hello NY.

I understand Your feeling, it is snow here too.

Unfortunately next possible moment to drive is maybe at beginning of April!

I feel sorry for Brad, because he has such a terrible luck... It can be so hard to someone... Need to have service often, oil chains, wash bike, etc



I have waxed my FZ today again.... 3rd time after finished last season end of Sebtember. But you can be sure, that on April, I am like child after got Christmas presents......
