How to remove silly sticker from tank?

The "read manual before riding" sticker won't just peel off. I'm thinking hair dryer to heat up then peel off and use WD40 or goof off to remove the residue?

Removal of the tank stickers is the first thing I do when a new bike rolls into the garage. A hair dryer and a stout fingernail will get the sticker off, it takes a while but just keep at it. Then you have a mess on the tank, but liberal use of goo gone or other solvent will clear the rest of the stuff off. Then I use a water wetted towel and clean the solvent off the tank. Job done.
