This radiator guard was purchased from jwhelan65 here at FZ1-forum. You can find the original thread and a few more photos of the product HERE.
So this was, indeed, very easy to ninstall. I simply used a utility knife to cut out original fins from stock guard. They cut almost like butter. This instruction video illustrates modifying the stock radiator cover and attaching the new guard to the stock cover.
