How to fix a wobly mirror stalk?

Im guessing the left mirrow on my bike was folded in more often than the other.
I have hurd there is a mod that stops it wobling anyone able to explain this ?

Scott, I found this from delbert:

Well curiosity got the better of me this afternoon & as it was way too cold to ride I removed the mirror . By taking off the blanking cap from the stem to reveil the pin , I found a couple of old sockets to put one either side of the rivited pin and squeezed it up tighter in the vice . Job done !! We will see how long it holds up as I need to fold them every time I take the bike out to fit down the lane ,,, worth a try though
