How many miles per tank?

Well, as you begin to feel more comfortable with the bike, you might find yourself staying longer in 2nd/3rd just because of the power that is delivered with such minimal movement. I used to short shift all the time and was in 5/6th and only going maybe 50. Lately, I'm in 3rd (maybe fourth) and going 60 and I only hit 6th when I'm on the interstate doing around 80-85 (speed limit is 75 here in NM)

Have to amend my original post....got 163 miles on 4.4 gallons of gas = 36mpg (guess I'll have to reconsider my original statement on getting a Gen II) However, don't know how I'd adjust to not having the extra gallon of gas....
