The 01 just hit 40k and the motor has yet to be opened up. Maybe that's why it don't run right anymore. It is a spare bike so we don't do anything to it unless we have to. This bike has had nitrous ran though it several times and she just keeps on going.

My FZ wil be 2 years old on July 1st. I have 26,000 miles on it now. Orginal chain and sprockets, but many, many tires.

7,600 and just bought Mobil 1 for my switch to synthetic for Oil Change #3.

BTW...Oil filters are SO MUCH cheaper on-line. The dealer got $17 out of me, but Autozone was MUCH cheaper for the Mobil 1.

You are getting some decent miles in. Congrats on the bike. It looks great. I've always loved the red ones (even though the blue are faster) oke: I plan on adding over 700 miles this weekend.

What windshield and helmet do you have? That was a great 55th bday present. I'm a little over 10 years behind you. I'm hoping for an FJR by then! Enjoy. I wish I was closer, because "you could be my wing man"!
