Hesitation when roll on throttle

Hi all,

I've noticed that since I removed the faulty FCE, I now have a roll on hesitation below 4000 rpm, it goes away as it revs higher. It also hesitates if I cruise at 4500rpm... I checked the cables and soldered them back together so they are secure. Not sure if it could be running lean too. Mods are modded airbox, BMC air filter, gutted cat, slip on, blocked AIS and 15 tooth front sprocket . Could it be running lean or could it be something else? I was planning on buying the 2011 ecu to fix the throttle snatch on the 06 but if I can't resolve this issue then I won't take the plunge yet

Forgot to mention, no kinked fuel line as I've done that mod. Spark plugs apparently changed by the dealer 2000 miles ago as well.

Could it the the TPS wires are not sure (unlikely) or could it be the coils?

my guess is that it's lean. After the airbox and the slip on, you're probably due for a power commander and a custom map.

yeah i'm hopin it's running lean and not something gone wrong... rather spend the money buying a PC then fixing things

power commander with a custom map from a dyno tuner is what you need. on top of that, if there is anything wrong, a good tuner will be able to tell you whats up with it.
