help with tapatalk

testing, response below

OK,

It can be done 2 of 3 ways.

1) get yourself an account with photobucket (what I use) Picasa, or any other photo hosting site. Upload your photo to that site and then various links will be created (you may have to click on a specific picture in order to get the links to appear).
***you want to copy the line, all of it, that gives you the
......
tag and then you can insert that into your message and the picture should appear.
***you can also copy the url address for the picture and click on the little icon above you message, that you are typing, to the right of the earth with the little chain link. That allows you post the url into the box that pops up and it'll insert the
......
tag for you.

This is done on a computer/laptop/and even mobile device.

2) using tapatalk:
a)I could not get an image to upload using the camera icon. It would say that it is uploading, but would never complete. This may be a feature that the Owner of the forum has disabled to cut down on the server space by hosting the images direct.

b)The icon of the the chainlink, is similar to having a file hosting service. It uploads to a location specified by them (tapatalk), and then takes care of entering the
....
tag to tell the FZ1-forum to go to this location to find the image you referenced in your post/reply.

is how the link is shown to make the picture above show with one exception. I have changed the direction of the slash (\) in the second [\img] tag so that it would show you what it'll look like if your posting in your own thread. If I were to change it in the other direction (/), it would insert the picture.

One other thing to keep in mind, if you delete the picture, or move to another location, it'll break the location it is told to search for and the picture will no longer show in your post.

So, I suggest using a photo hosting service, and create a separate location(s) for your forum use so once you reference it, you don't have to worry about the image disappearing, unless you chose to do so.

now, I have to go find out where tapatalk host the image so I can change its location, if possible.

Chicken eggs in the pink basket and Duck eggs in the stainless bowl. I'm a little lax in daily pickup for it from 7 days of laying.

Glad you were able to figure out.

also, incase you are using tapatalk, and you see the 3 boxes with no pictures in my post above, it is because I've used the

Your Welcome.

So, I can't find out where Tapatalk host images, but I have read about tapatalk (as of searching this am) charging some money after so many uploads.

my advice, use a third party photo hosting site, and figure out the couple of extra steps to make it work. OR, just wait till you get home and use the laptop/computer.

I pretty much use my mobile device for everything, and now that I have a split screen function, it makes tasks a bit easier to when posting images.
