Hello! Opinion on possible purchase?

Well guys, she's all mine :-)

Had a crazy busy day but still fit in a good 30mi ride with some friends, she handles like a champ and I couldn't be happier. Had a hell-of-a-time falling asleep let me tell you, giddy like a little school girl lol.
Our 10day forecast looks amazing, should be a great week.

Will talk to the pops about a possible forum discount, although seeing as it's not really a bulk/group purchase and his shop on eBay is one of the lowest already might not be much room to wiggle.

Have a great rest of your weekend and thanks for the welcome!

Good Call!
Having a good bike to ride is not worth delaying and agonizing over a few hundred dollars either way.
Congratulations!

Thanks for all the input again guys.

Ok couple questions.
Oil/Filters
What's everybody use and where's the best place to buy? I'm sure there's a wiki'esk site out there that covers this so please just point me in the right direction.

Exhaust
Just curious for people who have heard, how's the sound of the Two Brothers slip compare to other common pipes? I actually wouldn't mind quieting the bike down (at lower RPM anyway) but curious where mine falls in the general spectrum.

Washing/Cleaning
Any general tips on cleaning the bike? After each ride I've been going at it with windex and a rag to remove any visible salt/dirt (roads haven't fully cleared yet), but want to give it a full wash and rinse down later this week.

Really really appreciate the time taken to get me situated!

I've been using as of late the WalMart SuperTech ST7317 without any issues.

Two Bros is what I'd label as deep and "throaty" but you can quite it down nicely at idle/crusing range and still keep a good note when on the throttle by installing the P4 tip or P1X tip. I have a video of mine without and with the P4 tip. My wife's recent video is of the P1X tip which she installed on Saturday. Here's the links:

Any car wash soap works well as does dish detergent. Either way, be sure to clean the chain and lube it after a wash. I wash it when it is really dirty but typically I do the wipe down like you and follow up with a spray wax like Meguiar's. I spray the microfiber cloth and wipe it on the tank and plastics then buff it off.

Be warned that dish soap will remove any waxes and coatings on the paint surface as well as de-grease anything that needs greasing. I don't recommend it as a wash liquid unless you plan on giving it a good wax after and spray all the little pivots and things with grease.
