Hello! FZ8 from California

Ooo whats the loop?

I'd like to know as well! When I visit my friend in Fremont, we drive around on all the amazing roads in the Bay Area in all kinds of wicked cars they have at their Porsche shop. I've yet to ride down there but my god is it ever motorcycle heaven. 20 minutes from countless twisty roads in every direction :unworthy:

Hey Dustin, You know, they aren't wrong! The main ones i can think of right off the top of my head are:

Sierra/calaveras on the east side
Saratoga/Skyline/Highway 9 on the South West
Highway 17 to santa cruz on the south
Mt. Hamilton on the south east.
Half Moon Bay going north west
Or niles canyon/84 to the north east

I used to have a 919 as well! man that thing was a whole lot of bike.

The loop is Calveras, to 84 into Livermore to catch Mines Rd.then up the back side of Mt. Hamilton, down the front side and back to Milpitas with the option of Del Puerto Canyon Rd. when you reach The Junction. This loop will soon be to hot to ride comfortably without an early start.

BTW, Much more of the front side of Mt. Hamilton has been paved.

It's a great bike, probably my favourite of all the ones I've had. Any photos of yours?

Just this sad picture before I sold it. :(

919 was my dream bike.... could just never end up with one for some reason. Stars never aligned when I was looking for a bike.

Digging the S2K in the background. AP1? :)

Haha you have good taste in cars and bikes! :) It's an 05 AP2. You can tell from the shape of the radiator opening. And like all the other great things in my life, that is gone too.

I currently mob around in a Honda element. What it came down to was that I just couldn't justify my daily driven car that only had as much seating capacity as my motorcycle. And plus, motorcycles are WAY easier to satisfy my need for speed.

The first gen Element is cool. Quirky and unique like a lot of Hondas from that era. I'm a big Honda fan, actually.

My friend in Fremont has a first gen Insight, AP1 S2K and is shopping for an NSX at the moment. His boss has an NSX, an S2K, a CR-Z and had a couple of Insights. The funny thing is, his shop is a Porsche tuning shop! Ha

The Insight is my all time favourite car, all things considered. Love that thing

I went full circle with the honda thing.

2000 Honda Accord
2002 Honda Civic Si Hatchback (sold, but regretted it)
2003 Honda Civic Si (Same)
2005 Honda S2000
2006 Honda Element EX

all in the last 10 years or so.
