heading out

3 hour repair in the parking lot of a auto zone. It piled out all of it's fluid and the abs slave was a total PIA to bleed ugh

Everytime I hear stuff like this, that "reverse bleeding kit" looks better and better. It's much easier to push the new fluid up from the wheel into the MC than trying to suck it down through. Sorry you had to blow three hours there bud.

Go figure 1.5 hours into our ride home and suddenly no brakes. I like the idea of the reverse bleed system but it would be at home

"90 plus degree temps have beat us down."

Glad you guys had a good ride...at least you didn't get stuck in the cool rain we had up here...had a lot of grey rainy stuff up there in maine...

I am finally awake from the "day of hell" Got to my house around midnight and John decided to travel the 2 hours to his house so we loaded his bike on his trailer and got him on the road.A great trip other than the downfall of the "blue bomber' truck runs great but looks like it should be hauling trash no on second thought hauled as trash!!! I t was great that krispy met up to ride with us even after a night of partaking in multiple frosty treats!! I was able to keep him in sight most of the time on the Skyway only because he was riding slow that day! the last night there we met a bunch of guys at the Gap from the other FZ forum,Samal,Mccrimmon and Justintyme all real good people. Exciting night run at the Gap and for me at least a spirited "ride" away from the vicinity of officers that may have had designs on giving me a performance award.Of course last but not least John AKA "gump" or "filthy hippie" this great time would not have been possible without you coming along for the rides!!! Thanks alot John get your yardwork done and come on out here so we can ride! I will load some pics on as soon as I can find my camera cord

Sorry to hear about the trouble on your return trip! I had a good time riding with you guy's and hope to get together again when you get back down this way. Hopefully by then I will be back to full speed!

My second time on it so speeds were not that high. I might have broke the ton mark a couple of times. Soon as I get a chance to do some editing I will have a video of the trip; Dragon, Cherohala and Blood MTN

BTW I am not Gump or a Dirty Hippie, the stuff about the truck might be true. People kept telling me that, for a old lady my grandma was extremely fast. Then I would have to say that's not my grandma that's Jeff

I know you guys are probably tired from your trip, not to mention the "wheel cylinder mishap", but we have been more than patient thus far.
