Shipping this stuff is proving too costly...going to keep and try and adjust the mounting of the exhaust to protect the bags from heat. Thanks!

Blue Givi V35 hard side cases and SW-MOTECH quick release mounting for 09 Yamaha FZ1. The mount is like brand new except I removed the turn signal locations as I left my minis in original location (Have them if you want to weld back on). The under side of the right bag has a melted area (didn't melt through...no hole) from aftermarket exhaust (reason I am getting rid of them is because I don't want to change exhaust). Asking $450.

Can you show a pic of how you mount the rear turn signals?

I have mini LED with a fender eliminator so they are on the fender eliminator (reason I didn't want to relocate). The bags aren't on because I don't want to damage them, but the mounts are still there so you can see where they would be. If you want me to put them on let me know and I can do tomorrow or Wednesday.

PS I can include the mini indicators for anyone interested.

PM respond to.

Loosenut...I tried to lower the exhaust, but the way it fits the pipe would not rotate to drop it and put the spacer...I have done that on previous bikes...maybe operator error.

Yes the panels are easily removed and painted.

Although I'm not in the market, already have givi luggage, if you don't mind I do have a couple of questions.

- I believe my 2013 is the same color as your 2009. How close does the blue color on the bags come to matching the color of the bike?

- It appears you have some type of heat shield on the bottom of the bag that was over the exhaust. Do you think that would be required with the factory exhaust?

To anyone thinking of buying these.....

I've had Givi luggage on my last few bikes and have always been happy with the quality of the product. And the few times I called them the customer service was excellent.

Good luck with the sale,

Jon...

Jon,

I had them painted so I don't know what the factory blue match would be like.

I personally don't think the heat shield would be required with factory exhaust, but SW Motech sends it with there mounting bracket when you order so maybe they think it is.

Don't know if this helps....

Also for those interested in his bags, if you go with a carbon fiber slip on you shouldn't have any problems. I have the same bags for my bike (see my album) and have never had any issues (even loaded down at speeds in excess of 150 - not recommended though).
