Guitar Amp Suggestions?

Last year I participated in a Kickstarter project to help fund a video for Bob Mould. In return I got a nice blue Fender Stat signed by Bob. So far it's been hanging on the wall of the living room. I'd like to learn to play it. I tried to learn to play about 15+ years ago and gave it up, I sucked.

For a rank amateur (me) what inexpensive amp would you players recommend?

I'm thinking a Fender Mustang 1 V2, it's small, inexpensive and has good features.

Thoughts?

That Fender Mustang looks like a good amp, although I have never tried one. If you do more research and decide to look at all tube amps, Blackstar makes some great sounding little tube amps the HT-1 or HT-5 but they don't have the built in effects like the Fender Mustang. There are lots of demo videos on Youtube, that's how I decided on the amp I have now.
