Hi folks, and greetings from a cold place called Finland!
I just joined into this forum. I purchased an FZ1-S at last September, and after getting over the winter I started my riding season a week ago. It's a 2012 model, but was unsold until 2014 and was traded in to my local dealer having only 5400 km on the odo, practically in mint condition with a bargain price. My previous bike was a '05 Kawasaki Z750S which I had from new, and over the span of 10 years I made 63,000 km to the odometer with almost zero problems and I loved that bike.
In recent years I've been trying to find a suitable successor for my Kawa but had no luck, because there simply wasn't any bike which would be close to perfect to me. Any similar bike was either too heavy, had the saddle height too high, lacked power or was too expensive. Actually the FZ1-S was also too expensive as new, but when I found this one as almost new, the price was affordable and after a test drive and a weekend of thinking about it, I traded in the Kawa and became a pretty happy owner of FZ1-S.
