Got myself an 86

It's a Subaru & Toyota partnership vehicle. Subaru sells it as the BR-Z, Scion sells it as the FR-S and Toyota sells it as the GT-86. It's a front engine, RWD chassis with a 2L Subaru Boxer flat four motor. Just under 200 hp, 2600-2700 lbs and a 6 speed.

A friend of mine did the Western Canada promotion of the Scion FR-S and drove it all around showing it off & what it could do. I got to ride in it and was impressed. I'm glad that Toyota had the balls to create a car designed to be a reliable daily driver that was easily capable of this:

They really do slide around without much effort! It's nice to see that in a world dominated with AWD, stability control & enormous wheels & tires

I'd love to put my wife in the Scion model. ;) It's an awesome little car, not very practical but a damned fine looker! Congrats!!

There is NO SPACE in that car! It is a go-kart practically with 32 hwy mpg to boot!

Americans think everything is a go-kart! It's not a go-kart by any definition; it's a sports car, that's what they're supposed to drive like. :p Great car, though.

I've seen it fit two forward-facing child seats and two adults. A rear-facing seat won't fit, though. Certainly not as practical as cargo van but I think it's pretty roomy if you're not double-wide. I fit in the back and I'm about 6'0"

When Subaru releases an STI version of the BR-Z I might be tempted to trade in my 2004 wrx STI for one....

A bunch of my local racing buddies are one of three teams in Canada taking part in the Scion Tuner Challenge. They built a turbo track car for the competition and it was featured on /DRIVE recently:
