For those of you who have been waiting for a affordable adjustable rear shock your wait may be over. This from the Hawk forum I belong to, it is by a race tuner and bike specialist. Read through he says it will be available for the FZ as well.

Those sound like great street shocks. I don't have to say anything as to the quality (or lack of) of the stock shock.

My FZ1 is not a track bike, but I would definitely want something affordable to replace the stock shock, especially for two up touring. My dream would be an Ohlins with the remote preload, but I can't justify spending $1k for a rear shock for this bike so these might be the ticket...
 
Yeah I think I will. I have not had any luck finding a decent Fox unit for it so this may be the answer.

Looks like it will be what I really wanted for the FZ as well. Oh well I'll just have to live with my 8983.:)
