Going to have Base Dyno Run...9/24

So -- in preparation of doing a whole slew of mods to increase performance, I'd thought I'd mark the occasion with a baseline dyno run. I'll then go from top to bottom and do the following....

Jet Kit
Ported boots
airbox mod
timing advance
muzzy header with MIVV Titanium GP slip-on
new plugs
new fuel filter

and then follow that up with another run to measure the (hopefully) gains.....

will post the printout and let the discussion commence....

Graphs to come....

64.73 F : 24.66 in-HG: Humidity 26%: SAE: 1.21
current setup yielded a 119.56 Max HP with a Max Torque of 68.92

As suspected, setup is lean and and A/F mixture is 14.3 (maybe you can shed some more light Don.....)

also bummed to find out that I lose 15% or so performance being above mile high as opposed to those being down closer to sea level.

Where did you go to get it dynoed?
Its calculated to sea level already.
Take the hp and devide it by the sae number to get your real numbers.
I know it sucks up here in the high elevation.
Your bike is at 98hp and 58ftlbs
My bike is at 119hp and 57ftlbs After all my mods and the r1 intake cam that hurt the tourqe bad im sure.

I don't claim to know everything, that is why I'm open to discussions...and learning about what is taking place.....

J---so if dividing I'm @ 98hp or do you multiply by the 1.21??

hopefully I'm not being too optimistic to gain an additional 5-7hp with the above list --

it was fun to hear the FZ scream though when it was being put through the paces -- the rest of the shop got to hear it as well.....

I think you should see about a 15-20hp gain with all the mods.
My old bike 01 fz1 dynoed at 118hp at elevation with about the same mods.

I found my dyno sheets from there and omg my run conditions were very bad.

Run conditions
110.59 F
24.72in-hg
17% humidity
sae 1.26
149.44hp
71.45ftlbs
The bike had 5761 miles on it at the time.

Do you happen to know how much they charge for just a dyno run?

I'm right at 32k

they gave me 1 hour plus misc shop fees -- normally it is .65hr/run.

I'm getting the baseline and the after mod run for 99.76 -- basically 10 off/run
