I have the GIPro, not the ATRE model.. also have Ivan's flash so don't need the ATRE function. Sorry, I can't help out..
For anyone wondering, the ATRE model includes the timing retard eliminator function... and is cutomisable.
My tip would be to have the ATRE configured on a dyno, unless you're savvy.
