How visible is the mounting bracket for the side bags? Does it interfere with a passenger on the bike? Can you take a passenger with the bags installed?

Checkout all my photos here:

This is what it looks like when nothiong is connected. Just the brackets attached to the passenger pegs.

I'm interested in the bags. how much can you stuff in them? I was thinking about getting a top case but this route is way cheaper.

I have these bags and love them. They zip to expand and have rain bag liners. I've been caught in the rain with them and they stayed mostly dry anyway. You can ride a passenger with the bags on. Other than the small clip, as shown in Hail's picture, they come off in 30 seconds and back on in about 1 minute. Guide rails slip into the clips and keep the bags from pushing in toward the tire and the weight is held by a wide, velcro strap that lays over the passenger seat.

I would buy them again. Great, cheap and very useful.

I went on a week and a half 2,300 mile trip with them last September. I had everything I needed including tools and clothes and rain suit. Also had a little duffle. Still had some room to spare.

They clean up like new using car upholstery cleaner and a scrub brush if you do get caught in the rain.
