I just bought used 06 fz1 in may,last was 04 fz1.The 04 seat was really good but I'm thinking it was after market after seeing some oem pics.I think the stock 06 seat has bad pressure points for me atleast after about 120 miles.04 seat never had any problems(why I think may have been after market) I just got a corbin comfort seat but only one ride and hoping it breaks in quick or I'll try a modify for less weight bearing bone pressure.For the bike love it.04 was a manual choke and it sucked but 06 is injected,ymmm.I got mine used with about 7500 miles and a small sized dent on the right side of the tank where your knee is for only 4800 bucks.new tank runs 995.00.but with 7500 miles it's just broke in and rest of it is like new.A friend had a 99 yzfr1 and just got a new fz1r6. What rpm you got on 600 at 60mph,just wondering.
