FZ1s Gearshif & linkage

Can anyone confirm if R1 gearshift and linkage will fit my 2006 FZ1s.Brken ball joint and cant find second hand part.

don't think it will fit, was looking at it once instead of rearsets. Think you run into a problem because the fz1 shifter goes through the frame and it won't line up. here is the ball joint, $44.
