FZ1 ABS in US? Thinking about buying FZ1

The FZ1 is high on my list of prospective bikes. Has there ever been an FZ1 with ABS in the US? I haven’t been able to find any. If not, Is there a way to upgrade the brakes to ABS?
No, I don’t NEED ABS. But I’d prefer to have it on a bike with this much power.

While power is relative, the FZ1 is a tame liter bike. At no point have I ever thought, this bike needs ABS.

I am still baffled as to why Yamaha only sold the ABS bikes in Europe and not here. I would love to have it on my bike also.
