FZ1 07 Fairings

Hello, Just bought an 07 FZ1 w/ 1,900 miles yesterday. The FZ1 is the first bike I've owned in 15 yrs that isnt an R1, CBR or some type of super-sportbike. Went for a ride and was soooo happy! It's great.

Here is the question? How hard is it to sell my 07 Raven Blk/red farings/tank etc so that I can buy the Retro White red kit??? They are in very good condition. I Need to get $350 from them which is half of teh new kit.

Thoughts?

Got it,,,,makes sense lol
Only bad things is the bike would sit idle till I sell parts to generate funds for new Kit. With my luck I'd start selling and then Retro kits would run out!

They have been selling the retro kits for a while, I think that you will be okay. You could buy the retro kit with the old credit card, and sell your plastics, and pay back the CC. Pretty much the only way to make the swap quick and painless.
 
Well, you may be able to sell all of it. It would allow someone who went down to get new plastics and tank for a reasonable amount of cash. If you were close enough to me, I would buy it as spares.
 
Hi Loose nut,,,,,I'll look at shipping costs at my expense. Bottom line is I love the white/red. If that kit were yellow I'd burst! lol
 
no Sir,,,,No one in my area can paint cars let alone bikes very well. I'm a factory paint fan as they seem to do much better than most. Thanks
 
Shipping that from Florida to Cali will be over $150 and that's just too much which sucks, because I am gearing up for the track and having spare plastics would be awesome! Right now, I need another front wheel so I will have a spare set.
