I experienced the same thing when buying my first bike, then when I decided on it (cruiser) I would go to the sotre after hours and look at it through the glass as it was right there backed up next to the glass LOL. I was too embarassed to go in the store that often during business hours when i wasn't ready to buy since i hadn't completed the MSF course
