FS: 2010 FZ1-S (w/ fairing) in Virginia

Like new RED 2010 Yamaha FZ1 with front fairing. Bike just crossed over the 1,000 mile mark. The 600 mile break in service has been taken care of at the local Yamaha dealership. I have records as well. There have been 0 modifications to this bike other than putting on knock off Pazzo levers from eBay. Stock levers are included. Price is firm at $8,750 for forum members. Absolute lowest bottom price possible (I still owe this much on the bike) = $8,579.10

EDIT: New price of $8,000.

Located in Harrisonburg, VA (22801)

Anyone interested at $8,000?

Good luck...

How much does a new FZ1 coast in the over there ?

$10,500 brand spanking new @ dealership. Apparently, though, a bunch of people on this forum are buying these up at half that price. I've never seen proof of this, so it's hard to believe that my price of 8K is too high.

You can get a good idea of average market price by browsing the sold bikes on this forum.

Good luck with sale, great looking bike in those colours

I think they coast the same over here as they coast over there. You pull in the clutch lever and just let her roll. JK, LOLOLOL

I asked about a brand new 2013 at my local dealer and OTD was $12,500 (MSRP $10,500, tax (9.3%), tag and title)

If you buy from private party within the state you don't have to pay the sales tax part so that is helpful.

10.5 K ! Thats not even half of what we pay here ...
i bought a used fz1 for about that price and it was a bargain...

about %47 of the price (of all vehicles) is tax in Turkey, it may not seem so but it's a damn expensive country... not to mention that i'm burning the most expensive fuel on the planet, about 10$ a galon. again because of taxes...

Bike sold

Bike has been sold - 2/9/13.

For all those wondering; it went for 8k. Hopefully the guy will be a member of this forum real soon. Was riding a Ducati 998!

I sure do hope to be getting back on the FZ1 when I dig myself out of debt and pay for a wedding. My previous bikes include a 600RR and a Raider. I've also ridden a few Harleys, and I'm pretty sure that the FZ1 is the bike that I'm looking to ride for awhile. So, hopefully Yamaha will still be making it in about 3-4 years. Maybe I'll pony up a couple thousand for a 250 in the mean time.

For a couple thousand you could find a Gen 1 Fz1.
