Will the front wheel from a fz6 work on the fz1? There is only 1 difference in the part numbers but i thought it was only the paint code. Anyone done this?

They are the same size but unsure about the rotor bolt pattern. I used to drive an FZ6 too. Hmmm...

Anybody know if the wheels are painted or powder coated? I've heard from an experienced painter that oftentimes a front wheel will be painted and the back one powered (or vice-versa). Anyone?

Pretty sure R1 wheels are closer, looking into it...

The r1 and fz1 wheels have the same p.n., at least in 2007 they did. On ebay u can pick up a 600 wheel so much cheaper

04-06 R1 wheels interchange with the Gen II FZ1 wheels. Not sure about the FZ6 wheels. Axle or bearing diameter might be different.
