Thought I’d post this , probably old hat by now , but anyway , got this set up of aligning front and rear wheels some years ago from god knows who . If you’ve seen it apologies . It’s the cheapest longest spirit levels you can find with a bit of aluminium angle screwed on , the bricks are to get the same level as the back wheel . I drillEd a hole in both levels for 6mm screwed rod which you lightly clamp to the rear wheel . After loosening the rear spindle nut , you adjust the gap between the front wheel to be equal . Once all is done , keeping an eye on the chain slack , eyeball the adjustment marks on the end of the swing arm , they more than likely will be a bit out , but you’re wheels will be in line saving a bit on rubber and a neutral handling bike .
