Hi Gary I'am from Grangemouth, which I left a long time ago. Been living in Brussels for the past 30 years.

I was in the UK 2 summers ago for 3 weeks and went from the southern end all the way up to St. Andrews in Scotland and had the best weather the Isles had seen in years. They said it was a heatwave but it wasn't even 90F.
Anyway, if the weather stayed like that 8 months out of the year, I'd never get off my bike with the roads you guys have. I know narrow winding roads are perilous but they made my palms itch to be on a bike.

I live in Colorado now but I have lived in the following cities in England: Aldershot, Cove, Rochdale, Stockport, Timperly, Liverpool, Manchester. I even have an English drivers license. I miss being able to see all of the historical sites in England. I am not sure I would have a bike in England because of all of the rain, you guys are brave.
