Has anyone experienced riding when it's slushing/ party frozen weather? I did last night for 40 miles it was quite the experience lol. I had heated gloves my hands were fine but everything else was a popsicle by the time I got home. I'm trying to stick it out but I have a feeling my riding season will be over sooner than I thought.

Thank goodness the closet I have ever been to Freezing rain is ice fog and is that fun. Got to work and front of bike and mirrors looked like an ice sculpure lol. Had to wipe visor every couple of seconds.

They're not built for that. I find this bike to be a handful in the rain. I hate the cold, too. As soon as it's 10 degrees C or less I call it a year. Sometimes in the spring I'll ride in to work in the morning in the cold because it's been a long winter and I'm starved for riding, but even then 5 degrees C is my bottom line, and only if I know it's going to warm up in time to ride home.

Rode in freexing rain myself once. Had to get my bike home for the winter in the Ski Resort. It was blowing gusts to about 80kph, had to go from extreme right side of road get hit by wind and pushed to the gravel on the left. Hang in there till I could move right again and get pushed over again. A work mate following in his 4WD said he could hardly stay on the road. Lucky it was only 2k but at night it was enough for me.
