so on a spirited ride today i was coming out of a corner hard on the throttle... The front end got light and i had lift of Woohoo! but then touchdown wasn't so graceful I must have came down with the bars a little tweaked or a hit a bump. The road i was on wasn't in the best of shape. I about pooped my pants lol this happening once is all I need. I don't have a whole lot of cash but i want a decent stabilizer any suggestions on brands and sites to get them will be appreciated.

GPR Stabilizers V4 Sport Bike Stabilizer / Steering Damper Kit - Complete kit includes all hardware required for installation for 2008 Yamaha FZ1 - 2WheelPros.com with your choice of colors. I have one of these.

Did you change the dynamics of the bike? Meaning, raise or lower the front and/or rear? If you have raised the rear and/or lowered the front, this will cause the bike to corner very well but become unsettled leaving the corners when the front lifts. If this is the case, I'd change it back to stock until you can get a stabilizer.

and general suspension setup for your weight too. Get that professionally checked out. After I did, my whole ride and all dynamics were much better!

BTW - all the dampers I've seen are pretty rich... :(
