Emergency cheek pad release, education is key

I'm sure many of us know about the emergency cheek pad release on the new Shoei X-12 and the Arai Corsair-V and RX-Q, however, it doesn't matter if we know about it, only if the EMT that comes to rescue us knows about it. Therefor, I wanted to make a new, separate thread showing the videos of how these work. I'd like to encourage everyone to share this information with any emergency rescue worker or organization. Even sharing this with the ER in your local hospital could be helpful as they would know what ambulance services typically drop off customers there. I don't know what information is out there, but I know it's not enough. This will benefit everyone, because you never know where you'll be when you have an accident. I'm sure this feature will trickle down to all helmets in the future.

For those who haven't seen how the emergence cheek pad removal system works, here's a demonstration. Everyone should show this to their local ambulance service! I know Arai has a similar system in their Corsair-V and the RX-Q.

Here's a Shoei video made just for emergency responders. It's specific to motocross, but the basics still apply to the street helmet.

And here's the X-12 specific video from Shoei...

I'm sure there are better videos for the Arai helmets, but this was all I could find for now.

If anyone knows of other helmets with this feature, please post them here. Any videos related to this would be great to have here so they can be passed along to emergency crews.
