Time for a new thread! This is where all my trip reports & photos will live for this year.
Track me live on Spotwalla!

I've got some great plans for 2015:

- 2-up through Oregon
- July forum meetup in Colorado
- 2-up to Banff & Jasper National Parks
- BC Kootenay Region round 2
- California round 3

I'm currently in San Francisco on my first trip of the year, albeit not on two wheels. Loosenut and I met up for lunch today and he even took me up to the Mt. Hamilton Observatory on an awesome road.

I'm flying home tomorrow but had a great time and will post pictures.

Ok, in no particular order:

Mike (loosenut) was so kind to take time out of his day to meet me for lunch. After some tasty Middle Eastern food, he drove me up to the Lick Observatory on Mt. Hamilton in his G37S. The road going up there was totally fantastic and I can't wait to try it on a bike

Just a quick post with some photos of my weekend in Las Vegas. We were invited for Sandra's step Dad's 70th birthday party and were more than happy to oblige.

Getting a late start to the two wheel trips but tomorrow the gal and I will load the bike and head to the Okanagan region of BC for sun, sand, wine and fun. The Spot tracker will be up if you want to watch. Tomorrow's route will be pretty relaxed but we may take the long way home on Monday.

Photos to come :)

It was a nice ride up; surprisingly quiet for a long weekend Saturday. Sandra was warm and toasty in her gear with a heated vest plugged in, even when the temps dropped to 10c over the passes. When we arrived, it was 28c at the lakeside

We stopped at a delightful Greek restaurant in Penticton. We'd visited once last year on a whim and loved it; the food, the atmosphere, the staff -- all tremendous

1000 km later and we're back in Vancouver after a great weekend riding and doing Okanagan stuff. Somehow, we managed to squeeze 5 bottles of wine in our luggage along with everything else; the bike didn't complain too much and neither did my stellar pillion Sandra.

Unsurprisingly, it rained on Sunday, as it always does when I go away to somewhere hot and dry. :)

We definitely will be but Google Maps didn't let me route it in! The new version has far fewer points than it used to.

We'll be visiting all your suggestions as well as painted hills and areas to the east
