I have never lifted the tank. But maybe the previous owner did. Though not sure why he would have a reason to at 1500 miles.

I visually inspected the lines without lifting the tank, and did not notice anything. But I will look up how to lift the tank and check. Btw you mean the fuel venting lines that end at the bottom of the bike or the actual line from the fuel pump from the tank?

Also, are any fuel lines routed close to any heat producing parts of the motorcycle. Read somewhere on a forum that was an issue for a different bike. Thought maybe the cable is routing too close to the engine or something.
