Dashboard is Dead

2007 FZ1. Battery died, jumped it with my power bank as I’ve done 1,000,000 times before. This time the bike starts and runs no problem but the dash is dead. No digital output, rpm indicator flatlined. Still rides though. Any suggestions? Anyone ever had this happen? All fuses in good working order, even those 2 that I have no idea what they go to that both say 15 and are in a different spot than the others. Any hints would be appreciated.

My initial thought is a fuse has blown. However, you checked them. I suggest you put a meter to them and check em for ohms. I have had a fuse look normal though test bad before. It happens. Good luck.

I was just doing a little look in through the wiring diagram in the service manual. It look like it get power from the main fuse via the main switch which makes sense, every other circuit on there is an indicating circuit that I can tell branching off the gauge cluster. Everything else works on the bike? It’s just the main cluster that is dead? Are your left handlebar switches working? Indicators/headlight etc? If that is the case you may have a damaged dashboard. Maybe a surge spike from the jump. That seems unlikely though if it was a dedicated battery jump box.

Also, instead of jumping the battery put a regular charger on it and charge the battery without the stator trying the charge.
