Continental Conti Motion Tyres

I'm on my 3rd set on my FZ6R and love them. They work great for me here in Florida where it's always warm. Up there in the land of good beer on a hight HP bike, not sure. Combo of cold weather and rain might not be your best friend with the Conti Motion. Compare to the PR2 the tire is less round. Make it more stable on the flat slab but doesn't lean as quick.

So what I'm trying yo say is if you are a moderate rider riding the freeway most of the time the Conti Motion is right for you. If you are a bit more aggressive and like to hit the twisties every weekend, I will suggest you to go more with a PR2 or PR3.

Like I said, the C-M are great for me in Florida on my 80HP bike. Not sure about adding another 50-60 HP how they will handle it. But there's only one way to find out... like you said, they are cheap.
 
Thanks guys. You been to Liverpool Marthy ? You got the weather straight ! Hadn't realised the tyres had been discussed before. I only ride in the warmer weather now. Its an age thing :innocent: And my days of footpeg scratching are long passed. Looks like the tyres last though, which appeals on a tight budget. So long as they aren't dreadful I can probably get along with them.

I'm from Montreal and have few friend that are from the UK. Unfortunately I never been to the UK, but planning on it.

If you are not riding aggressively you should be fine with those shoes. I don't ride hard but scrape pegs every now and then and those never let me down. Just take it easy when it's cold... Ah, they like to run a bit on the higher chart of the pressure... just like about most review I read. I get 10K miles out of my read mostly because of riding the highway most of the time. I double stint the front tire this time just to try... plenty of rubber left but I think I won't do that again... still has $hit load of heat cycle on it. And for about $80-90 for a front tire... why bother?
