Color Painted Frame?

Has anyone seen an FZ1 G2 with a painted frame (other than black of course)? I think it might look neat, in the cobalt or gray. The red might be a little loud.
I was going to photoshop mine but my wife wasn't home. :surrender:

In 06 the liquid silver had a navy blue frame in the UK...I think.

Never seen any other than the dark blue that Yamaha offers on the FZ1-N in some of the other markets. Might be an interesting project, but very time consuming to do it right that's for sure! Take a look:

That's sweet. I'd like to see, for example, something where the frame is body-colored, and smooth like the normal finish. Might be cool.

I bet the Raven would look good with a black fra... oh wait.

Not on the FZ1 but I've seen a pic of an FZ6 (similar frame style) where the owner polished it to an aluminum shine that looked almost like chrome. Don't know where those pics can be found now...

It would be a lot of work to do it, but I'd love to see it. If you want the smooth finish, I think you'd have to polish it first, then get it coated. So, get started!!! :tup:
