Center Stand cushion?

Hello Again, Good Fazers

Quick question - I've had my FZ1 for 2 years now, and every time I push off of the center stand there's a loud metal-on-metal clank. It just recently occurred to me that there should be some sort of rubber pad there, right? I'm not sure if it's something that has started happening recently, of if it just never bothered me before. If there is said pad, is there anyone who has removed the center stand and would be willing to part with it?

Even with the rubber stopper it will clang.....that's just the way it is. There is just a lot of metal on metal action going on....the pivots on the stand, the spring, they all contribute to the sound when the rubber bumper hits it's stop on the frame. If your rubber stopper is missing replace it, but you'll still get the annoying sound.

I had the same issue when I changed for an after market exhaust the rubber is still on the main stand but with an after market exhaust the main stand rides up more so I fitted a cheap door stop (rubber) to the exhaust.
