Carburetor Coolant Hoses

One of my carburetor coolant hoses has a pin hole leak. The hose I need is the one that attaches to the left most carburetor on the outside of the carb. I was wondering which part number I would need to order on the Yamaha microfiche. I was thinking either number 60 or 61? Thanks!

Pull them and cap 'em. I did that this winter and it's one of the simpler and better mods I have done.

I did that mod a few months ago when one of the hoses started leaking coolant, it has no effect on performance & gets rid of all the clutter, its very simple to do. see how to details at the link below.

Do you remember what size vacuum caps you used for this? I checked at my local auto parts store and they come in a few different sizes.

I noticed that I'm not leaking anymore. It's a common mod. I disabled all of the lines and took the carbs into Napa and matched the plugs up. Just to be safe I added hose clamps. Now I have more room for maintenance.

Local Nappa store has the 1/4 inch vac caps, use the small clamps form the stock hose....1/8th caps for the two at the carbs...Did mine today..10 minutes
