Canadian Parts in the States

Hi all:

Just to let you know I am a newbie that purchased an 07 FZ1 about a week and a half ago and am loving it. However, I have noticed that our Canadian brethren have access to Genuine Yamaha parts that are not available to us below the border (or at least not listed on the US Yamaha web site). There are a few items I have a great deal of interest in and I was wondering what some of you thought about them and if you knew any channels to get them here in the U.S. I am interested in the Yamaha saddlebags and mounts for the FZ1, the hand-warmers and the frontal fearing. Any input is welcome.

Well it wont be cheap to get those parts here in the US. As far as the saddle bags a much cheaper alternative are Givi V35 bags and mounts. A complete set can be had for about half the cost of the Yamaha stuff.

Post up the link for what exactly you are interested in. The Canadian dollar is nearly at par, so you will pay dearly, but it is possible to get the stuff from a northern member.
