I'm not really up on all this 3d printing stuff but I do know that they are expensive pieces of machinery, and small items take hours to complete. Unless they have come up with speedier machines, I can't see them replacing the methods of manufacturing that are being used now. Then again, I may be totally wrong. I'd hate to see yet another "human element" removed from what made us progress to where we are now. Robots and robotics are slowly taking us over. I guess it's good and bad. Maybe I'm just an old dog in a new world.
