Motocross champ James Mark Stewart Jr. arrested for impersonating police officer

It's the same old story. How many times have we seen this. You would think that Bubba would have better common sense than this. It just goes to show you that all the money in the world can't buy smarts. Out of all the cars to pick for his escapade, he chooses a Trooper's Car! :doh2:

My feelings on this are that this kid hasn't been allowed to eat, sleep, or think about anything other than Motocross since he was three years old. His father, James Sr., runs the house like a compound and I think that Bubba just missed out on all the regular childhood stuff and is trying to make up for it. You can definitely see his decline in the sport as there are at least 4 other guys who can now hang with him on the track with no problem.

If he really wants to be Champion again, he had better get his act together and start thinking a little more wisely. Even the boys over at Nitro Circus wouldn't get away with impersonating an officer. This bonehead move is going to cost him dearly, mark my words. There is no judge in this land that is going to let this go without punishment, no matter how much money and high pollutin' lawyers he's got. The court system is finally tired of these celebrities screwing up and expecting them to just pay and leave.

I've watched Bubba's first televised race and turned and told Richie to watch that guy cause he's gonna be champion soon. I hope he gets it out of his system now and flies straight.

As long as he doesnt wreck he should win everytime but thats not the case... Im going for villapoto this year to win i think he deserve it more than anyone this year

I think NY is right, just excising youthful demons . . . something most of us got out of our system in our late teens.

Can't say I never did anything this stupid. He's gonna have to cool it though if he wants to have a long career.

You right on Cricket. Now my son isn't a superstar in any one thing he does, but I think it is important as a parent with an aspiring kid, to let them have a balance in their lives with time set aside to be just a normal kid. I'm not putting all the blame on his Dad, but I've seen, on the TV show at least, and in interviews with Bubba, that he has pretty much spent every waking hour doing nothing but training to be a champ. Let it be known however, that no matter how much his Dad has driven him into being number one, he still should have known better to do an "idiot" thing like that. It is important for kids to be kids, and when you take that away the chances of this stuff happening as they become "of age" increases. I'm a big fan of his and I hope this is enough to scare him straight. He will definitely learn a big lesson from this, we hope.

You and me both man! RV is the man !!!! I had a very similar injury and I can totally relate with what he has come through to come back .. then win his first SX of the season!! Suhweet...

The other great thing is the competition this year is awesome.. and I am also a big fan of Chad Reed.... basically anyone but BUBBA ... the idiot!

Don't get me wrong... I appreciate Stewart's talent but he has been a total moron lately and I believe guys like Villopoto, Reed and even Dungey deserve it more.

I do hope RV's run of bad luck ends soon but he is still the guy I'd put my money on :D
