Well I think the open tarmac doesn't give a good sense of speed since there are objects around to use as point of references.

Didn't look like he had all that much room to stop. I think I would have rather been on the salt flats instead of a runway. Either way congrats to him. Not sure I'd have the cajones to run full out on a 1,000hp bike no matter where I was.
