Better than GoPro?

I've been using Openshot in Ubuntu for my last two videos. You can upload from there and it seems pretty quick. When I'm in windows, I use Corel Videostudio and can upload from there too. Uploads in windows to Youtube seem to be a lot slower than they do when I use Ubuntu.

Have to say I'm very happy with the Go Pro. I have the HD Hero 2 and the quality is awesome... lots of goodies are optional like various mounts and LCD display, but the video quality is outstanding. I recently took a motox trip to Florida and I was really blown away how good the video was - even at night! In fact the video doesn't do me justice in that the track had some serious blind spots where I was jumping on faith (I rode the track all day so had it down) but in the video you can't tell ... the lighting seems fine!

HA! I see "old school" beat me to the "night ride posting of GoPro Footage" ... I need to be online a little more often! lol

It doesn't look bad at all but then again I don't see the benefits of this over the GoPro to compensate the difference in price.........do you?

Go Pro comes with some very easy to use and fairly powerful editing software for free as well.

I really like my gopro.
