Theres a threaded hole, im assuming from the R1 from olden days, just curious what it does, right side, on the crank case cover, ive included a picture, thanks yall.

maybe the injection port for the flux caplacitor....

I just went out and looked and mine has nothing in it. I have the chin spoiler so if its not for the farings then its not for the fz.

I was looking at the other hole, upper right just behind the rad hose. Oops!

Just looked at my bike, & it isn't for a full-fairing bracket? Like you said, probably something from the R1...

May be something used at the factory for mounting the engine in place or something like that. I looked at some R1 pics and it looks like its open on those too.

It looks like an oil passage plug, when they need oil to flow through the case in a different direction they will drill intersecting holes that meet, then install a plug to keep the oil from leaking out.
