Any Thoughts

So I got a 95 KLX 650 in for carb work. It would run then die.
I got it running but it seems to be overfueling at idle.
Fuel screw all the way in (tried all the way out to 3.5 turns)
Cleaned all jets, replaced pilot with brand new #40 (stock)
Needle and seat hold pressure
Slide opens with vacuum pressure
Compression tests ok
Timing is ok
Cleaned the petcock
Added inline fuel filter between petcock and carb
No leak down test because I dont have a tester but it seems like a carb issue not a valve issue.
I've done everything I know how and I got nothing except going to a smaller pilot.

It'll idle fine but you gotta rev it to over 3k to get it to take off in first. If you let it drop under 3k without returning to idle and going back to 3k it dies.

Who is a CVK carb guru?
