I've noticed my risers move around a bit in the rubber mounting. Everything is tight. Is this normal?
Am I missing somthing?

I don't remember whether mine moved or not but I'd imagine that it's more for vibration isolation than anything else. If all your mounting bolts are torqued to spec I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah... it's normal for them to move around a bit... it shouldn't be excessive... if you think they're moving around too much, you should be able to tighten them up a bit.. I managed to tighten mine down to where they only move if you put quite a bit of pressure on them...

Thanks. In all the bikes ive ever had , this is the first with the risers mounted in rubber. I also added some washers to the bottem and that seems to help.

I thought that mine had cotter pins below?? Check that. If you see holes through the bolts, slap a couple of pins through there for safety.

Holes are there,Just havent put them in yet. Good eye!

Yes, then make sure to use them! You never want those nuts falling off while riding. That would HURT!!!:eek5:

I certainly plan on it. Ive just been doing test and tune since everythings reassembled, since powder coat and engine swap.
