So I am thinking of taking off the whole darn AIS system and put on covers. I temporarly blocked the hose for now after adding my Yoshi and scoped out the job down the road. Am I going to snake it out from the sides over the top of the cylender heads or do I go in for the kill from the top, removing the ECU? Don't tell me I have to remove the throttle bodies to get to it?...

Do it the same way you change the plugs. That's how I did mine, just drop the radiator down and voila! :)

Missyl is right wait for your plug change or change them now. Just remove radiator bolts, tank and airbox. It's still a PIA. Good luck
