Ive put about 500 miles on the mods so i figured id write my opinon on the goods
1 16 tooth front sprocket best $25 ive spent on this bike gets the motor in its sweet spot much quicker pulls hard and the front is a little harder keeping down when wfo the downside is on the highway doin over 70 the motor is turning 5000 and the speedo is is off some more a good mod for the track my opinion
2 rear tire 180/55/17 michelon pilot power the bike seemed top heavy at low speed turning seemed like i was turning up a hill its only 10mm slimmer and a little higher but it seemed to make a difference turning without loosing traction very stickey and no balance weights needed i also ground down the casting letters and painted it black that frugly gold/green rim is gone although i will be powdercoating next time
3 custom led intagrated rear light i got the clear one and when the light is off it looks smoked the lights are VERY bright easy to see the turnsignals easy to install with the help of HAILS posting however it did not come with the top and bottom padding to keep it watertight i had some left from the shoria battery that worked perf ect
4 yoshi tail elemanator i almost sent it back because if you want to use turnsignal stalks they mount on the tag holder bolts pretty silly but if for some reason i wanted to put the signal stalks back on its only a matter of four tag bolts the led tag light is also pretty weak the old tail was pretty heavy between the exaust and the fe saved alot of weight and is notacible
5 hell ss brake lines very nice good quality and only notice a difference when slowing at high speed no fading
i hope this helps anyone thinking about doing any of these mods the most surprising was the front sprocket

Could you clarify your tire thing.
Couldn't tell which tire was what - and what was thinner than what.

The tire i put on is not as wide as the stock tire

FYI, On my GenII, I rode a 180 series tire for a couple of years and then recently switched to the 190/55 size that has become standard fitment on many sportbikes. It turns in better and holds lovely traction while heeled over. Part of the problem with the 180 is that the FZ rim is just a bit too wide to fit it. Just my 2 cents . . .

yeah to each his own ive only put 5500 mi on this bike and its my first sportbike so im still gettin to know her but it seems to corner easier to me
