2nd Try, Dash/Starter not working 2002

Installed new turn signals, didn't put a rubber cap back on one of the male/female connectors, now my meters won't light up, and bike won't start. Not a battery issue, battery is new.

Headlights and taillights work, turning signals work, the dash indicators for my neutral/oil/brights/turning signals will work.

I think it's something immediately before the connection hits the dash/starter, as it's my understanding they're closely related on this bike? Wires looked good, my hope it's something with either the relay or a blown fuse, OEM dashes for this year bike are costly.

Cheers folks, not a throwaway account just I couldn't find the answers somewhere else and don't have the knowledge for this one!

For anyone following, an update:

The issue was a blown main fuse and faulty starter solenoid. After replacing the main fuse, the dash will come on and the ignition will reply. In my case, since I also have a faulty solenoid, the solenoid will only click and the bike will not turn over.

I know I was hunting through 2011 to find an answer, so here's an updated post for everyone with this issue.
